Institutions Can Suppress

Institutions Can Suppress
PinHead Larry Was Here
Many times institutions can make you feel like your nothing
Not letting you do stuff freely
making your soul disappear
crushing your spirits in achieving your goal
They just want you to do their own ideas

They trap your soul
and don't let it go
Making you speechless
they don't let you speak your own word
Controlling your every movement
like some kind of puppet

Making you do their biding
They suppress you so you won't contradict
You can't deny it
They will make you either way

Institutions Suppress
They will posses
Escape from the clutches
And be free
don't let them capture your mind
Let it be free
Don't Let This Be You

Elegy

Once i have lost something very special in my life
Even though it was just a pet I still miss him
A dog that i rescued from the street
I feed it and helped him get on his feet
I found him in dull damp weather
and we ended up together
Everyday I always awoke to see his face
always grateful and excited
We played all day together
inside and outside
I always relied on him to get me in a better mood

One day he got so sick he needed to go to the vet
when i heard the news my body felt shaky like if there was an earthquake inside of me
Knowing i will lose him
and not have him by my side
My heart pounded as fast as a speeding bullet
The next day when i heard he was ok
my heart felt relief after i heard the news
I knew i had him back

But then one day he ran away
someone left the gate open and he ran
I got a teary eye when i heard
We searched for him all day
No luck
I finally gave up thinking i will never see him again
Around 12 or 1 am me and my mom heard whimpering
it was coming from the alley i found him in
when we checked it was my dog

My family needed to move away
But the new owners did not accept pets of any sort
My heart fell down to my stomach
but we needed to move
I said my final goodbyes to my dog
We gave him away
And I never heard of him since that day

My Ode

This is in honor of my mom and dad
even though they sometimes get  mad
They always do whats best for me
even if i don't deserve it
They cater to my every will
trying to get me to succeed
They have supported me the entire way
with all the things they say

My bringers of life are always by my side
whenever I'm down they pick me up
They help me with problems
Even though I make them furious enough to hit me
they never do but instead respond with kindness and understanding
Then one day something happened
BOOM!
I fell down and almost shattered the vulnerable bones
but they came to my rescue and helped me up

Sometimes I get on their last nerves
I make them go insane with rage against me
Making them scream like a lion roaring to their preys
I make them like that, but after a punishment they forgive me
I follow their commands like a piece of machinery with a remote
just to make them happy

Even though I mix their emotions
and make a lot of commotion
I always have a passionate feeling for them in my heart

Quotes That Represent Me

                                                                             Quotes

1. "Be yourself, everyone else is taken"- Oscar Wilde
This quote means that you need to be unique and be yourself while standing out. Everyone else either follows and acts like other people or are their own person. This relates to me because I stand out of a crowd and try not to mimic other people.

2.  "So many books, so little time"- Frank Zappa
This means that there are so many pieces of literature in the world you would like to read, but there is not enough time for you to read. This quote relates to me because i enjoy reading book, yet I  don't have enough time to read them all.

Paper Burning

                                                                 The Burying Of Scholars

In 221 BC, there was an emperor in Japan named Qin who burned the scholars book and work. He later buried the scholars so they wouldn't be able to write the books anymore. In my opinion it's wrong to burn and bury books, work, and scholars.  Because of Emperor Qin, the history of culture and architecture of Japan is now lost due to the emperor.  The work is now lost forever and impossible to recover.  It is cruel to burns people's hard work and then just bury them so they can be silent and not fightback or say what the real history is.

                                                                             Nalanda

Nalanda was a university in India. It was one of the best university in the world, it attracted students from all places as far as Greece just to study. The library was full of ancient books from grammar, architecture, culture, to religion. Some books where the most important information about Buddhism, but they were destroyed by Bakhtiyar Khilji and his Muslim army.  They sacked the university in 1193. They burned so many books that the fire burned for about three months. The loss of the religious books ended Buddhism in India for hundreds of years.  It is not fair for a random person to just come in and destroy religious items while thinking they are superior.  They destroyed all of the religious text and lost all of the information and then losing the religion completely for hundreds of years.

Inspirational

On March 26 a boy named Jaylen came to the school of Los Angeles Leadership Academy and talked about his hard time in school because he was bullied. He talked about his Tourette syndrome and how it made him do things by force. He needed to live with the fact he will be doing that for the rest of his life. He was tormented and mocked by several of his classmates. I learned that he struggled through his life. I discovered about the dreaded disease known as Tourette. Tourette affects your brain and makes you do random actions and random noises.

I felt deep sorrow for Jaylen and how he was picked on during his life. I felt a teary eye whenever he talked and ticked at the same time. Even though he had a disease that made him to weird things he still had an excellent speaking voice and vocabulary. Even though the effect of tourette syndrome will ware off in the future, it still affects him now but he is still brave to be himself and to be proud he has it.
