On March 26 a boy named Jaylen came to the school of Los Angeles Leadership Academy and talked about his hard time in school because he was bullied. He talked about his Tourette syndrome and how it made him do things by force. He needed to live with the fact he will be doing that for the rest of his life. He was tormented and mocked by several of his classmates. I learned that he struggled through his life. I discovered about the dreaded disease known as Tourette. Tourette affects your brain and makes you do random actions and random noises.
I felt deep sorrow for Jaylen and how he was picked on during his life. I felt a teary eye whenever he talked and ticked at the same time. Even though he had a disease that made him to weird things he still had an excellent speaking voice and vocabulary. Even though the effect of tourette syndrome will ware off in the future, it still affects him now but he is still brave to be himself and to be proud he has it.
